I had SEW much fun and was very honored to cut up my daughter Jamie's wedding dress to make her baby's Christening Gown! I was able to use the beautiful silk fabric, lining, crystals, and even the snaps from the bustle of the gown! I made the gown simple with little details and let the beautiful silk fabric show for itself. I added a little bit of elegance by adding the crystals to the front bodice. The train of the Christening gown was taken from the train of the wedding gown, hem, lining and all, making my job a lot easier.
